Events for Children
Grouping
Group A: 3-6 years
Group B: 6-10 years
Group C: 10-13 years
1) Fancy Dress
Group A : Theme-Radha/ Krishna. Speak, sing, dance or tell a sloka
Group B1 : (6 to 8 years): Dress up like any person in the Ramayana and speak, sing or dance.
Group B2: (8 to 10 years): Dress up like any person in the Mahabharata and speak.
Group C : Dress up like any person from Srimad Bhagavatham and speak.
2) Shloka recitation competition
Topic : Kunti Prayers from Srimad Bhagavatham
Group A : First 5 shlokas
Group B: First 7 shlokas
Group C: First 11 shlokas
3) Drawing competition
Group A: Draw and colour anything related to Krishna, like flute, cow, prasadam, conch, peacock feather etc.
Group B : Draw and colour any picture related to Krishna’s childhood pastimes
Group C: Draw and colour any incarnation of Lord.
Media to be used: A4 Size – Crayons, Oil pastels or pencil colours.

4) Make a Gift for Krishna
Group A – Make a flute
Group B – Make a crown
Group C – Make a cradle or a nice throne
5) Bhajan Competition
Any classical vaishnavakrti in any language.
Bhajan by renowned composers such as Surdas, Tulsidas, Mirabai
Children will be judged groupwise.
6) Story Telling
(Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam or English)
Choose any one story:
Krishna, the butter thief
Krishna and the fruit vendor
Krishna kills Bakasura
Events for teens and adults

Group A – 13 to 18 years
Group B – 18 to 25 years
Group C – 25 and above
1) Photography – Topic: Spark of Life Format: JPEG
* Send photo of subject
* Send another photo of yourself near the subject for original authenticity
* Photo must contain automatic date and time of shooting
2) Video Contest – Topic : “I see the hand of God in this”
Format: Mp4 Duration: Total 2 minutes
* Must be accompanied with your voice
* Must contain at least one minute of pictures or video
* Use only royalty/copyright free contents
3) Rangoli/Kolam Competition Theme: Butter pot
Rangoli with dots or freehand
Kolam with powder or liquid, freehand or dots
For Rangoli use Minimum 5 colours.
Photos have to be clicked at beginning of drawing the design, middle of drawing and at finish. All three photos have to be submitted.
4) Deity Shringar contest
Are you feeling that you cannot invite friends and family to see the grand shringar of your Krishna on Janmashtami?
Share your deity shringar with us and even get awarded for your loving performance.
Send a photo of your deities in their grand new Janmashtami dress
Send a photo of the total altar area decoration.
Judging criteria – Deity dress (outfit, turban, dressing), Deity Decoration (jewellery, painting gopi dots, garlands) and Overall Decoration (altar, theme, lighting, backdrops, rangoli etc.)
5) Bhoga Presentation
Set bhoga in a beautiful array for the Lord.
Example: salad or snacks arranged in a beautiful design, cake icing decoration etc.
Photos have to be clicked at beginning of setting the bhoga, mid-way and at
finish. All three photos have to be submitted.
6) Story Telling – Topic: Wedding of Krishna and Rukmini (Tamil, Hindi or English)
Participate as an individual or a group
Time limit: 5-7 minutes
You can use copyright-free background music and home props.

Fill up all fields in the registration form.
Make sure you submit the correct email id and phone number to enable further communication.
Donation Rs.200/- for any 4 competitions per participant (That is, if you are participating in the adult competitions and you have 2 children who are also participating, you will have to submit 3 registration forms).
Competitions once selected cannot be changed.
Once we receive your registrations, WhatsApp groups will be formed for each competition and age category to keep you updated. Links for submission will be provided in the WhatsApp groups.
Prize winners will be asked to show age-proof certificate
